It seems as though it's been a summer of Celebrity babies. Kourtney Kardashian, Jessica Simpson, Snooki, Molly Sims. And now, Congratulations to Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey! The couple welcomed their first child together yesterday on Wednesday, September 12th. Vanessa and Nick, who have been married since July 2011, named their new baby boy Camden John Lachey. The new parents released a statement to Us Weekly this morning about their bundle of joy, saying, “We are incredibly proud to announce the birth of our beautiful baby boy, Camden John Lachey. Born today at 6:54 pm. He came into this world at 8lbs 9oz and 21 inches. Love has truly been redefined for both of us.”
Vanessa 31, said throughout her pregnancy she tried to to “eat constantly,” but is aware of what she is putting in her body, while watching her calorie count. It’s better to be safe! “The only gift I can give my baby right now is what I put in my mouth and how I am health-conscious about trying to stay active,” she said in one interview “[My baby] is actually developing and growing. I think about everything I eat and drink.”
